Chicopee, MA   February 13, 2018 – The Boys & Girls Club of Chicopee is happy to announce its 14^th Annual George Webb Memorial Basketball Tournament.  Registrations are now being accepted, and can be picked up at the Club, or by downloading a copy by visiting the website at www.bgcchicopee.org

The tournament is open to teams in the following grades for boys & girls grades: 3rd & 4^th, 5^th & 6^th and 7^th & 8^th.  Any Parks & Recreation, CYO, AAU or Suburban teams are eligible to participate.

All tournament games will once again be held at the Club’s Chicopee Savings Bank Gymnasium.  Each year, teams from Chicopee, Springfield, South Hadley, Holyoke, Westfield, Granby, Longmeadow, East Longmeadow and other areas of Massachusetts take part in this tournament.

The George Webb Memorial tournament is designed to include an upper competitive (A) division and lower competitive (B) division for the youth teams. Girls’ teams are highly encouraged to register!  If you are interested in entering a team in the tournament, please call Manny Cruz at the Boys & Girls Club of Chicopee, at 413-206-4107.  The tournament is scheduled to begin Friday, March 9, 2018.  The cost is $175 per team and roster, fees and required documents are due by Monday, February 26, 2018
