Donate your clean clothing, shoes and textiles including outerwear, sheets and blankets to keep them out of local landfills. Just place them in one of Mint Green Planet’s recycling boxes located throughout Western Mass and Worcester County.
Just The Facts
In America, each person discards about 67 pounds of clothing annually; clogging our dwindling landfill reserves. Every article of clothing creates 29.2 pounds of carbon. When clothing is responsibly recycled and diverted from landfills, we can reduce our carbon footprint by about one ton per person per year! Recycling clothing has the greatest impact on the environment next to recycling aluminum.
